Jean-Claude Risset created important pieces by using the FORTRAN language to code various CAMC functions to exert high level control on sound synthesis, with special routines (PLF) that could automatically manage dynamic variations of synthesis parameters. Some PLF functions written for Music V in FORTRAN by Jean-Claude Risset helped him to perform repeated calculations and in particular to modify data structures. These were the most advanced features of the Music V language.
